This week has been an extraordinary week and one I have no doubt we will all remember for many years to come. My staff have been incredible during this time of uncertainty in making sure that the school continues to run as normal and the children’s questions are managed in the best way possible. Understandably, we have had to work extremely hard in the background to prepare, plan and manage the situation for the whole school community. I want to thank all the parents who have supported in whatever way they have been able to – this has been greatly appreciated. Learning packs went home today for all children to enable them to continue with their education remotely which is important. For those children currently absent, learning packs will need to be collected from school next week from the main foyer of the school (if not from another parent you may have asked to collect for you).
In your prayers, I ask that you think about all of the emergency, public and financial services as they continue to work tirelessly in extreme situations to support our country. Keep in mind all of the people around the world who have been effected by the Coronavirus as well as those in our local communities. Pray for our whole school community- children, staff, governors and parents.
For all parents, the school is still here for you and I will be available (on phone or email for those of you not at school) if you would like to speak to me at any point should you need my support. Communication will continue between the school and parent community. The school is still functioning.
An updated letter was emailed today with an accompanying email for completion of the Childcare registration form. This applies to families of key workers and vulnerable children regarding the partial opening of our school.
Look after yourselves,
Mrs K Davis
