The closing date for your child's Nursery school application is 4th March 2027.
The outcome of applications will be advised on 15th April 2027
St Swithun Wells is a Primary School with a full time Nursery and our current whole school roll is 223 pupils. We currently have spaces for 20 children at our Nursery.
Our Nursery school day runs as follows:
8.30am - 3.30pm
At the start of the day the Nursery gate will open at 8:30am and close at 8:40am
At the end of the day the Nursery gate will open at 3:15pm and close at 3:30pm
For parents who wish to send their child in for mornings only (15 free hours), the day is 8.30am - 11.30am. The gate will open at 8:30am and close at 8:40am and children will be collected at 11:30am prompt
Our Nursery offers the 30 free hours. For parents who may not be eligible, additional hours are offered at £6.80 per hour (£20.60 per day),

Where there are more applications for places than the number of places available, places will be offered according to the following order of priority.
In recent years, the admission authority has been pleased to offer places to children in all oversubscription criteria.
OVERSUBSCRIPTION CRITERIA
Where there are more applications than the number of places available, places will be offered according to the following order of priority: -
Catholic ‘looked after’ children and previously ‘looked after’ children
Baptised Catholic Children who have a sibling at the school at the time of admission.
Baptised Catholic children who are resident in the Parish of St Gregory the Great, South Ruislip.
Baptised Catholic children who are resident in the Parishes of St Thomas More, Eastcote, St Gabriel’s, South Harrow or St. Bernard’s’ Northolt. Parishes in this category are given equal opportunity.
Other Baptised Catholic children who are resident in any other parish.
Other ‘looked after’ children and previously ‘looked after’ children
Catechumens and members of an Eastern Christian Church. Other children who have a sibling at school at the time of admission.
Other children who have a sibling at school at the time of admission.
Christians of other denominations whose application is supported either by a certificate of baptism or by a letter from their minister/religious leader confirming membership of the faith community.
Children of other faiths whose application is supported by a letter from their Minister/ Religious Leader confirming membership of the faith community.
Any other children.
