Come back soon- information to follow!
At St Swithun Wells, we support pupil well being every day.
However we joined forces with Place 2 Be and enjoyed the 'Express Yourself Theme' of Children's Mental Health Awareness Week.
On Monday, we watched the Online Assembly from Place 2 Be which reminded us about the importance of expressing who we are and celebrating our differences.
On Wednesday, we all expressed ourselves by wearing something that was meaningful to who we are as individuals.
On Friday, our parents awarded us with a 'Star of the Week' certificate to how amazing we all are.
Throughout the week, we continued with our PHSE activities.
This year, we had a visit from Rosie Allen and the Dogs' Trust. She shared a fantastic assembly with us and taught us all about safe behaviour around dogs. Her workshops were great too.
Throughout our PSHE teaching, the children continued to explore their feelings and what they can do to help them when they are worried or sad. Mental Health and Well-Being is supported every week at SSW and we really do make sure that this is embedded into the core of our school.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
