Outstanding in all areas- CSI Inspection May 2025
Good morning from Kingswood.
Yesterday was another fun filled day and we kicked off with buggy building. We put our OPAL skills to work and quickly assembled a working buggy.
We made our own shelters in the wood and after lunch we scaled the heights with Jacobs ladder. We were left to find hidden clues around the site with orienteering. In the evening we all sat around the camp fire singing songs and listening to stories.
We all slept really well and are looking forward to climbing this morning before boarding the bus for home.
We have had an amazing week, made memories that we will never forget, came out of our comfort zone to try new and daring activities. We are tired but still smiling.
Looking forward to seeing you all today with big bags of washing and a hug and a kiss.
Dear Parents,
Another full on day here at Kingswood.
We started off the day with Quidditch, a mixture of dodgeball and netball. We then tackled the obstacle challenge; climbing over fences and ducking under beams and squeezing between the tyres. Check out the photos on our google classroom post.
After a hearty lunch of spaghetti bolognaise, we climbed the heights for leap of faith. We shouted "en gaurd" when fencing. We were let loose in the shop and filled our suitcases with things that will remind us of our trip forever.
In the evening we showed off our moves at the disco and wished Wiktoria a happy birthday with a chocolate cake and candles.
Today we tackle buggy building, Jacobs ladder, shelter building, allowed to roam the site orienteering and lastly finish with campfire.
We are all (including the teachers) having a brilliant time but looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Regards
Mrs Bolton
Dear parents,
We are having a fantastic time here at Kingswood. Everyone is eating well, enjoying the activities and getting a good nights rest.
Yesterday we got to zip down the zip line really fast and won the mini Olympics when competing with another school.
We took our hand at archery with lots of shots hitting the target.
The best part of the day was nightline. We all got covered in freezing cold wet mud as we navigated blindfolded through a maze of different obstacles. Luckily we were able to shower and change before lunch. Get the washing machine ready on boil wash!
We are off to the shop today to spend our money and we have Quidditch, obstacle challenge, fencing, leap of faith and then the disco.
We will see who can hit the ball on the leap of faith!
Kind Regards
Mrs Bolton.
The children slept very well last night and a ready for a fun packed day.
Yesterday the children dropped from the heights with 3G Swing and had the challenge of saving a water balloon just using cardboard and sellotape. Everyone ate well and were treated to fish fingers, wedges, pasta and chicken.
Today is archery and zip line and then nightline.
The group will be trying to light fires and then competing in a mini Olympics.
All are having a fabulous time.
