We celebrate the achievements of all our children at St Swithun Wells and this is done through our weekly Awards Assembly on Fridays. All parents and the school community are welcome to attend the assembly.

Star Of The Week 

The teachers will choose a child as a star of the week who has demonstrated an excellent attitude towards their learning, behaviour and all other areas of school life. Chosen children will receive a certificated to take home and a star of the week trophy to keep on their desk in school. Lunchtime Stars will also be awarded in each Key Stage.

Postcard Home from the Headteacher 

Teachers will nominate children in their class for a postcard home from the Headteacher. Those with the most postcards home by the end of the year will receive a prize.

Code of Conduct 

Each class will work towards achieving the Code of Conduct award at the end of the week and and the chosen class will be awarded a certificate at assembly.

House Points

Children across the school belong to one of our Houses and will receive house points for demonstrating the school values, following our code of conduct and representing the school as an excellent role model to others.

Attendance Awards 

Classes will collect certificates for the highest overall class percentage of the week.

Outstanding Sports Achievement Award

In memory of our very special and dear friend, our Oisín O'Driscoll Sports Achievement Award will be given to identified children for their sporting achievements during our Sports & Health Week in June.

Termly Awards

Stars of the Term will be chosen for the following awards and will receive a prize:
